The Rules

Pacific Crest is based on respect for the individual balanced by respect for the community. The rules, developed and adopted by the students and staff, reflect this. Put simply, each individual — students and teachers alike — is expected to:
  • contribute to the community
  • respect one's self and one's education
  • respect the rights, beliefs, abilities and property of others
  • respect the intellectual, physical and emotional well-being of others
Pacific Crest has an open campus policy which allows students the freedom to be off premises during free periods. Attendance at school and in classes is the student's responsibility. It is both tracked closely and expected of students wishing to maintain their good standing.

Other rules which have appeared mysteriously on the Rule Board include:
  • Always clean up your mess — especially if no one is watching.
  • For the safety of others, hair spikes should be no more than four inches in length.
  • You cannot remove your shoes unless your feet smell nice.
