Pacific Crest Community School
is a student-focused, fully-accredited independent school for grades six through twelve located in Portland, Oregon. The school was founded by five teachers in 1993, and is democratically run by its staff and student body. From the beginning, the school has been dedicated equally to both: its students, whose discovery of the world and their place in it is the greatest journey of all; and to its teachers, who have found that learning and teaching go both ways—and always hand in hand.

The final deadline to apply for next year at Pacific Crest is approaching quickly, so make sure you’ve planned your Tuesday Tours and shadowing days to make sure you have the most possible information about life at the school. Feel free to contact our office with any questions you may have.

Focusing on Service Learning

Tuesday Tours

Every Tuesday morning, the directors of Pacific Crest welcome prospective students and families to visit and learn about our school. This tour is the first step in understanding what the Pacific Crest experience is all about, and seeing first hand what makes us unique. Visitors will be able to meet with Becky and Jenny in a small Q&A session, and then have the opportunity to sit in at our weekly, student-led school meeting, one of the fundamentals of our community focus. Afterwards, families can tour the building and speak with students and teachers about their experiences here at PCCS.
